College Cost Calculator
College Cost Calculator
Plan for the Fall and Spring semesters using the college’s published tuition and fees.
Your Planning Estimate
College charges and living expenses are different: books are purchased outside the college. This estimate is not a college bill or an official financial aid cost-of-attendance budget. Only grants and scholarships you enter are deducted for planning. A subtotal with unknown expenses is not a complete estimate of your total attendance costs.
How This Estimate Works
Tuition = credit hours × $200. Technology = $100 per attended semester. Books = $500 per attended semester, purchased outside the college. College housing = $2,000 per attended semester when selected.
Known cost subtotal = tuition + technology + estimated books + college housing, if selected. Optional charges and personal expense amounts you enter are added separately. Blank personal expenses remain unknown and are excluded from the subtotal, rather than reported as $0. If you enter grants or scholarships, they are subtracted from the displayed planning subtotal. The remaining amount is shown separately; it is not a college bill or a federally calculated net price.
Estimate disclosure: Published costs and personal expenses may change. This estimate is not a final determination or actual award of aid and is not binding on the U.S. Secretary of Education, the college, or the state. The college’s federal aid participation application is pending; submitting a FAFSA does not make federal aid available at an institution that has not been approved to participate. General information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available from Federal Student Aid. This calculator does not verify eligibility or guarantee awards.
